From September through to December 2022, we collected your recyclable tooling to raise funds for charity. We are pleased to announce that we collected 115kgs in tooling, and raised a total of $2277.00 for Beyond Blue.

who donated 93kgs in recyclable tooling!!
We appreciate the support we received from every individual and company who donated. Thank you so much for contributing to this initiative, we couldn’t have done it without you.

What is Recycling for Charity:
This is our recycling program, where we collect your old or unused tooling and donate it to our business accquaintances at Wolfram Metal Recyclers. All funds raised from collection are then donated to a selected charity.
Each quarterly period we select a new charity to make donations to.
What can be donated:
Compression tools, turnover knives, lathe insert knives, spiral cutters, solid carbide planer knives, etc.
Ways to Donate:
1- Drop your recyclable tooling into our shop in Wangara
(Unit 1,10 Beneficial Way, Wangara)
2- Hand your recyclable tooling to our representatives upon arrival
(for delivery clients only)
CONGRATULATIONS TO JAN
This year marks Jan’s 40th year here at Carbide Tools!
Jan started working with us when she was 16 years old and plays a vital role in overseeing our day-to-day procedures. Jan is the first person you see when you come into our showroom, and will always greet you with a smile, and an abundance of product knowledge to ensure you get the right tools for the job.
In her 40 years, Jan has been an essential part of our companies journey and success.
We are so grateful for the passion and dedication you show, to our customers and staff, and are grateful for everything you have done for us all these years!

Outside of work, Jan is passionate about horses and competes in show jumping and dressage. To celebrate her 40th work anniversary, Jan was gifted this incredible, hand-crafted piece from Feature Wood Gallery.
