January News…

As part of our fundraising initiative, this quarter we are raising funds for
THE PANTRY WA.

THE PANTRY support members of the community who are experiencing challenging times, by providing food hampers to those in need. Through their Community Outreach Program, The Pantry supplies food to many schools as they help struggling parents feed their children. the police department who assist at risk families, the Red Cross, White Lion as they support youth who are at risk, initiatives for the homeless, and Indigenous communities that are also dealing with this hidden crisis.

“It may shock you to hear that one in 6 people go hungry every day in our city here in Perth. We’re not talking about people who live on the street, we’re talking about people who live in your street. Crisis can hit any family at any time – a mother escaping domestic violence, hardworking people who have been hit by job losses, illness, injury, all against the backdrop of the rising costs of living like rent and electricity.”

What is Recycling for Charity:

This is our recycling program, where we collect your old or unused tooling and donate it to our business acquaintances at Wolfram Metal Recyclers. All funds raised from collection are then donated to a selected charity. Each quarterly period we select a new charity to make donations to.

What you can donate:

Compression tools; turnover knives; lathe insert knives; spiral cutters; solid carbide planer knives; etc.
If you are unsure, please give us a call on 9303 9646, we’re always happy to help.

Ways you can donate:

1- Drop your recyclable tooling into our shop in Wangara (Unit 1,10 Beneficial Way, Wangara)

2- Hand your recyclable tooling to our representatives upon arrival (for delivery clients only)

Benefits of recycling:

Reduce your carbon footprint; Reduce greenhouse emissions; Prevent unnecessary landfill waste; Reduce damage to the environment; Conserve energy used to produce more metals through mining.

Last quarter we raised $2,277.00 for Beyond Blue.
